![]() The in-game trainings give Holobux for completing each one.By watching our official Twitch stream every week and our Creator Crew partners, we're giving away 250 Holobux this week, 350 Holobux next week, etc. We started doing weekly Twitch Drops at the end of last season, with more to earn every week.New in Season 2, there are Daily Login Bonuses, which can include XP (indirectly leading to more Holobux), or more Holobux, up to 200 just for logging in.In addition to Street Rank, there are a lot of additional ways to earn Holobux in the game: For going through the whole Street Rank alone, you're earning over 15,000 Holobux (Over $150 USD's worth). The increments are 50 / 100 / 150 / 200, and while the lower levels are every 5th level, that becomes even more frequently after Platinum rank, up to as frequently as every 3rd level. There's Street Rank, you did mention, although Holobux are earned at minimum every 5th level, and even more frequently at higher Street Rank levels. Outside of buying, there are many ways to earn Holobux. This has been our line since first announcing, months before anyone could buy the game: Just to be clear, we've never said that there wouldn't be microtransactions, just that there wouldn't be lootboxes (which we're holding strong on). Also sorry if any of these sentence don’t make much sense, as I’m pretty brain dead when it comes to writing long passages. It’s to the point where the currency system is similar to that of Fornite, or Apex. ![]() But I find it kind of petty that Velan promoted this game as though it would allow you to get a significant amount of Holobux, but instead SOLD us a game that makes it hard to get holobux without real money. It’s been a while since I’ve found a game that I hop on constantly. But instead of actually being able to earn at least a good amount of bux every game, you’re getting a mere 50 holobux every 8-10 levels (which get increasingly harder to progress as you rise up).Īs I said in the beginning, I love this game. This wouldn’t be much of a problem if you could play for holobux, which Velan also promised. Now, three months later, we have the game, which we paid for, and still have micro transactions. Many, including me, were relieved after hearing this news, knowing the game wouldn’t go down that route. Velan responded saying that although this game wouldn’t be free, there would be no micro transactions. ![]() Many people had been wondering whether KO City will be free to play, and others would be mad when informed that it wasn’t. ![]() With this being said, I want to bring up something Velan Studios said when they were promoting this game before release. Hey guys and gals, I know it’s been a few months since the game has been released, and those months have been great! I’ve been playing this game since the BETA tests and is now one of my most favorite games in a long time. ![]()
